Unemployment data dives further into the black hole

Today we reprise the image from Captain Bernanke's black hole misadventure to show the nature of the ongoing "recovery".

I've increased text size for the last few months. Note the real plunge after January '11. The last few points are affected by a change in methodology wherein the BLS no longer caps unemployment duration at two years, but rather at five years.

The blue curve near the bottom represents the data using the old methodology (for you purists who insist on consistent methodologies).
