Neat things

These.

They are 2 g wafers of gold, about the size of paper money bills, sealed in plastic. They are flexible, and are sold at local banks in China at a price a little less than double the value of the gold. They look to be stamped rather than "printed" as the Valaurum bars.

  1. They're cool. Though I have to say i find it slightly bizarre to see the English language used on (even pseudo) Chinese banknotes. Got any background on that, mickeyman? Is it a common thing?

    1. I wouldn't think of them as banknotes, more as souvenirs. Perhaps the plan is to market them worldwide, as they do with the panda coins.

  2. I have had some overseas people ask about buying these. Does anyone know of any gold dealers with these?
